Business Intelligence Tool (BI) - RFP and System Selection

RNR Consulting was commissioned by AVTA in May, 2007, to develop a comprehensive RFP for a Business Intelligence System that would allow for cost savings as well as increase the overall efficiency of the Authority. AVTA was utilizing a variety of systems in an effort to increase efficiency in each area of operations. AVTA was seeking to combine the reporting power across all systems in order to generate real-time feedback and an overview of the Authority’s performance. Considering the needs of the Authority, RNR Consulting developed a detailed RFP, including Scope of Work, System Requirements, and Evaluation Criteria, offering all necessary information to prospective bidders.

After solicitation, RNR Consulting conducted an in-depth evaluation of the received proposals. In order to recommend the most suitable solution, we conducted Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis (including Cost-Benefit Analysis), Best Practices Analysis, Reference Check, as well as Demonstration Sessions with guest evaluators to obtain third-party independent opinions. Ultimately, we quantified all feedback into final scores and recommended the optimal solution for AVTA.
