RNR Consulting was contracted to assist the County by providing system acquisition services. The implementation consulting team conducted cross-functional sessions with front end users to create user evaluation criteria that could be utilized in the evaluation the short-listed solution vendors. We assisted the Calvert Project Manager in the compilation of a comprehensive set of functional and technical system specifications, which will be used in conjunction with the RFP to solicit vendor responses. RNR Consulting also assisted the County with the technical proposal and cost proposal evaluations, and provided quantitative and qualitative evaluation matrices.

In addition to the previously mentioned tasks, RNR Consulting assisted the County with scripting, conducting, and evaluating vendor demonstrations. After the system selection, RNR Consulting assisted in the design for an organizational indexing solution for the County with well-defined boundaries and guidelines. The project team helped design the back end database for the purpose of meta-data storage. We also lead sessions with the Application Support Team to finalize the implementation plan. RNR Consulting worked with the selected Vendor to implement a phased-in approach for the EDRMS, and assist in the implementation and training for all eleven (11) departments within the County.
