Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation

RNR Consulting assisted AVTA in the procurement of an ERP system to replace its manual process of financial data management. Previously, AVTA utilized the services of an external firm to process payroll and perform accounts payable functions.


RNR Consulting managed the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System for the Authority. After helping AVTA define the requirements for a new ERP system, RNR assisted AVTA in negotiating the contract with the selected vendor, e-Software Professionals for Microsoft Navision, and managing the contract throughout the entirety of the project. RNR Consulting’s responsibilities included organizing and administering training sessions for AVTA staff, conducting follow-up meetings, and developing business processes. We assured that AVTA’s business rules were reflected within the ERP system in order to ensure proper internal processing of the financial data.


At the completion of the training, RNR Consulting assisted AVTA in its first Live ERP operations, and provided on-site support and trouble-shooting for problem issues, saving the Authority additional support charges. In addition, RNR Consulting performed the training in those areas of the ERP system operations, which were not covered in the vendor training sessions, such as workflow setup, importing historical data, and developing user manuals and reference sheets for later use by the AVTA employees. As a result of RNR’s activities, AVTA was able to save $10,000 from the original contract amount with the vendor.
