Financial Management Information System Implementation

RNR Consulting provided consulting services to the City of Cleveland for the Implementation of a citywide Financial Management Information System (FMIS). We were engaged by the City and software vendor to successfully implement a citywide financial, procurement and budgeting system of the City using web-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Tasks performed included the following:

  • Assisted the software vendor in discussions related to interfaces, modifications, data conversion and report development;
  • Worked with the teams in reviewing vendor provided deliverables;
  • Assisted in the development of standardized testing methods and tracking of test results across all teams;
  • Participated in the development of various levels of testing conducted on the software interfaces, software modifications, data conversion, system, integration and user acceptance testing;
  • Participated in the tracking and resolution of issues identified during testing; and
  • Participated in process review and redesign activities.
