Hansen Customization for Transportation Division

RNR Consulting was engaged by the City of Lancaster, CA to provide consulting services for the implementation of Hansen Software modules which included: Roadway, Hansen 8™ - CDR (Building and Use Permits), Storm, Fleet, Hansen Mobile Solution, Work Order Management, GeoAdministrator, and MapDrawer. As part of this initiative, RNR Consulting was tasked with the development of a custom interface for the City’s Transportation Division. Through the creation of “As-Is” process maps, RNR Consulting documented existing business processes related to work order management, which provided a framework for the development of custom functionalities within Hansen. Based on an understanding of the client’s critical business processes, RNR Consulting developed customized SQL statements which reflected in the “transportation” window of the Work Order module in Hansen. The addition of this customized functionality enabled the City to track the life cycle of work orders, bringing increased efficiency and better accountability to the process.
