RNR Consulting was engaged by the City of Lancaster, California, to provide consulting services for the implementation of Hansen Software modules including: Roadway, Hansen 8™ - CDR (Building and Use Permits), Storm, Fleet, Hansen Mobile Solution, Work Order Management, GeoAdministrator, and MapDrawer. The project included the following activities:

• Development of “As-Is” business processes for the asset management and building permit facets of the City’s business, including processes involving: plans and permits, building inspection, issuance of certificate of occupancy, customer service and preventative and scheduled maintenance process;
• Analysis of functionalities offered by various Hansen modules and development of “To-Be” process maps for these modules;
• Legacy system data analysis, clean up, and validation;
• Data import from legacy systems and conversion into MS Access format compatible with Hansen data conversion requirements;
• Acceptance testing;
• On-going IT technical support (Coordinate City IT department and Hansen technical team);
• Performance of a basic computer skills assessment;
• Performance of basic computer skills training;
• On-site core user and end user training support;
• Creation of forms and tables for customizations support;
• Development of activity workflows and population of table codes;
• Services for “Go-Live” support; and
• Post-implementation refresher training support.
