Maintenance Application Re-Implementation and EDMS System Selection

As part of an IT strategy plan, RNR Consulting assisted in the re-implementation of the maintenance application at AVTA, including basic computer skills training for all of the mechanics and dispatchers. This training provided an improved understanding and exposure to the computer software and systems within their organization. In addition, RNR Consulting participated in the training of the application and conducted refresher training for all of the mechanics and dispatchers. RNR Consulting ensured that the existing data in the system was accurate, and applied conversions to ensure that all data was in the system before “Go-Live”.

 

RNR Consulting also developed a Request for Information (RFI) document soliciting vendors to provide an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for AVTA. The RFI was based upon AVTA’s immediate and long-term needs. RNR Consulting identified these needs through interviews with AVTA management and staff in conjunction with the activities previously conducted during the IT Strategic Plan.
