Maintenance Management Training and Policies and Procedures
RNR Consulting conducted one-on-one intensive and personal Maximus functionality training for the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) Maintenance Supervisors, Deputy Superintendent of Maintenance, and the Superintendent of Maintenance. Each member of TARTA’s Maintenance Supervisory Staff was trained on the Maximus Functionality that directly relates to their job function/functionality.
In conjunction with the training, RNR Consulting assisted the Maintenance Department Management team with the development and documentation of the policies and procedures to guide the Maintenance Department personnel. The procedures involved the interface with the Maximus application. Policies were developed for data entry, Work Order review, parts issues, work order issues, work order submittal, and work order closing. The Policies and procedures manual that we developed also serve as management tool for the Supervisors to manage both the mechanics’ work order activities including but not limited to the entry of labor hours, task ids etc, as well as insuring the mechanics properly issued parts from the stockroom to the work order.
