Needs Assessment Study for Financial Management Information System

RNR Consulting conducted a comprehensive Financial Management Information System (FMIS) needs assessment for all departments including Procurement, Licenses and Assessment, Public Health, Public Safety, Treasury, Ports and the Municipal Court in the City of Cleveland. Our activities included facilitation of cross-departmental sessions to review common City functions (procurement, project/grant accounting, etc.) for identification of operational improvements through the use of new technology, better use of existing technology, or improvements in current business processes. After the needs assessment, RNR Consulting assisted the City of Cleveland with writing the RFP, including detailed system specifications for the future FMIS. RNR Consulting also facilitated the management of the vendor demonstrations to facilitate the selection of a new system. In addition, our firm assisted in contract negotiations with the selected vendor.
