Operations and Financial Assessment

RNR Consulting was engaged by APRA’s Board of Directors to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the expense structure and operations at APRA. RNR Consulting performed a myriad of activities to document and analyze APRA procedures and processes. These activities included interviews with APRA board members, management, and staff to gauge sentiments from all sides, and Full Time Employee (FTE) analyses and monitoring to determine the current people/resource utilization. RNR Consulting also developed process maps documenting critical operational processes and identifying redundancies and bottlenecks.

RNR Consulting analyzed the business processes and recommended changes through

“To-Be” process maps eliminating the redundancies. A review of best practices was conducted, primarily to define the following key areas: financial management with respect to internal control mechanisms, communication and effective work methods, complaint resolution, performance review, and future planning. RNR Consulting also conducted a comprehensive financial assessment of APRA’s expenses in which statistical and financial models such as trend, variance, and common size analyses were used. RNR Consulting made recommendations and provided the immediate next steps to best achieve those recommendations.
