RNR Consulting was subcontracted by Karen Antion Consulting (KAC) to perform an assessment of the current environment of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Technology Division. RNR Consulting performed the review of the internal documentation and conducted interviews with key personnel including division managers and managers from the division’s technology clients within VTA. The data gathered from the interviews was used to evaluate VTA’s Information Technology program, the types of services provided, how service was delivered and managed, and the actual performance against the program’s goals and objectives. This review included an assessment of VTA’s IT governance (IT organization, management, goals, processes, performance, technical environment, etc.), IT services and applications, and the Information Technology Strategic Plan.
