RNR Consulting organized and facilitated four (4) strategic planning sessions for the Division of Facilities Management within the Department of General Services at the Montgomery County Government (MCG). The division vision, mission and strategic action plans were developed to align with those of the Department of General Services and Montgomery County. The four (4) sessions were conducted as focus groups with mixtures of staff from all areas within the division. The approach was to assign one of the three areas of Customer Service, Organizational Structure and Business Processes to each of three breakout session groups for thorough and detailed analysis and discussion. The topic rotated through the groups in each of the following two sessions. The final session was devoted to the analysis of the Key performance Areas (KPAs) and the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Each group also discussed and analyzed the overall topics of the County, Department and Division Vision, Mission and Core Values.

RNR Consulting has now been retained to complete the Phase III portion of this project involving the framework development of the Strategic Plan, the development of the Business process Mapping and the Customer Service Standard Operating procedures and policies.
