Time and Attendance System Selection and Implementation
RNR Consulting was engaged by the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) to assist in the selection and implementation of a Time and Attendance System. In order to assess various systems, we conducted a variety of activities that included the development of process maps and functional maps, executive management interviews to determine management goals and objectives, and a quantitative and qualitative cost-benefit analysis to select an adequate system for the agency. RNR Consulting assisted in the evaluation and assessment of a time and attendance system for the hourly union employees of the Authority. This resulted in significant cost savings and efficiency improvements in the area of labor management for the operations and maintenance departments. Furthermore, management was able to develop more detailed and effective reports and track employee hours more accurately than with the previous manual system.
