RNR Consulting worked on validation issues that the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) experienced relevant with the Trak fuel management system (Trak). As a result, RNR Consulting was able to understand which issues had been successfully resolved and which issues were still outstanding. As apart of this initiative, RNR Consulting conducted the following activities:

* Review available Trak specific reports and documentation
* Conduct interviews with CATS personnel
* Develop a Validation List
* Identify Issues
* Solutions and actions taken (including who was responsible for resolving the issue)
* Validate date
* Validate detail
* Provide a list of outstanding issues and possible causes for each outstanding issue
