Trapeze OPS and OPS-IVR Implementation
RNR Consulting conducted Trapeze OPS and OPS-IVR implementations for AVTA. Trapeze OPS is a leading operations management software utilized in the transit industry. RNR Consulting was commissioned to ensured that the new software was seamlessly integrated with the current ITS, IVR and scheduling software. We conducted numerous training activities including voice development, data development, system administrator, bidding, dispatcher, workforce management, and payroll. The system was successfully interfaced with AVTA’s payroll system and is currently being utilized to develop the operators’ payroll. In addition, RNR Consulting helped AVTA and Veolia (AVTA’s Operation and Maintenance Contractor) to phase out the currently utilized operational system (Solutions) and smoothly transition to Trapeze OPS. As a result, we streamlined AVTA’s operational processes and helped raise efficiencies at the agency, with the overall goal of assisting AVTA in providing enhanced services to the community at a reduced cost.
In conjunction with the Trapeze OPS project, RNR Consulting also implemented Trapeze OPS-IVR at AVTA. This software application uses Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technologies to enable operators to access work assignments and other information over a standard touch-tone telephone. RNR Consulting conducted a seamless integration of OPS-IVR to AVTA’s IVR system. We developed the necessary requirement definitions for the new software. The system was successfully configured, tested and accepted by all user groups. Trapeze OPS-IVR was complimentary to Trapeze OPS and AVTA’s initiative to improve operations. The system reduced the time and effort required for dispatchers to inform operators of their work assignments. It provided an alternative method of ensuring that operators are informed of their work assignments, and provided an audit log recording when an operator was notified of his work assignments. Which is useful for such purposes as disciplinary and grievance proceedings.
