RNR Consulting was commissioned by the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) to implement Trapeze OPS, leading operations management software servicing the public transit industry. As part of this project, RNR Consulting conducted an operational review, reviewed the union contracts and reviewed operational guidelines to document a thorough understanding of DART’s operations. Additionally, RNR Consulting reviewed the fixed route scheduling software (Trapeze FX), which helped DART in identifying custom requirements for the employee roster in OPS. RNR Consulting also populated the employee data, vehicle data and accruals data into OPS and configured these functionalities in line with DART’s union contracts and operational guidelines. RNR Consulting audited training sessions for data development training, system administrator training, bidding training, dispatcher training, workforce management training, and payroll training to ensure that DART’s system administrators and end users receive adequate and relevant training. RNR Consulting also defined the requirements for an effective interface between the financial management system (Microsoft Dynamic GP) and Trapeze OPS.
