RNR Consulting was contracted to assist another consulting company, ARINC, in the review and identification of existing MTA data flow in the framework of a potential Unified Bus Login solution. RNR Consulting mapped the seven disparate on-bus systems, and the flow of data on and off of the bus, tracking how the information was generated, and where within MTA the data was utilized. RNR Consulting also assisted ARINC in the development of a PowerPoint presentation to include the bus system’s architecture diagrams, as well as data flow diagrams to demonstrate the impact that the potential Unified Bus Login solution will have on MTA operations.
