Work Order Management System Implementation Services
RNR Consulting is currently involved in the assessment of the current maintenance practices and processes at Cleveland Public Power (CPP) leading to recommendations for future maintenance practices and processes utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). RNR Consulting is a subcontractor to EMA, the selected CPP CMMS system vendor. RNR Consulting’s involvement during the system implementation includes:
* Preparations of manuals for use by CPP representatives. The Infor Datastream 7i System and End User Manuals will include clear, concise information that is relevant to the CMMS application as implemented for CPP, its database, and applicable tools and utility functions which support the system. The System Manuals will be specific to the application and will include complete information for the ongoing use, upkeep, administration, and management of the CMMS and supporting software. The manuals will include all documentation requirements specified by CPP. The paper manual will be professionally produced with double-sided copies, three-ring binders, table of contents, tab dividers, page lifters and attractive covers specific to CPP. The information included in the manual will be applicable to CPP CMMS system, comprehensive and proven accurate through field verification. The manuals will be developed in a clear and concise manner to convey the necessary information to the user. The System Manuals will contain System Administration Guide, Software Installation Guide, and End User manual for all subsystems.
The End User Manuals (User Guides) will consist of appropriate information from the System Manuals necessary for the day-to-day use of the CMMS at CPP. In addition to the written System and End User Manuals, EMA will provide the manuals in an electronic format viewable from the home menu of Infor Datastream 7i.
* Configuration. After all system configurations are determined, documented, approved by CPP and implemented, the project team will conduct CPP workflow scenario review sessions. The Project Team will function as the participants in these workshops to assure CPP the system will function as expected.
The consulting team will demonstrate the results of the configuration decisions made by the CPP Project Team at the workshops. Decisions will be documented and a Final Configuration document provided. The team will prepare submittals that describe and document the configuration of each element of the software per the approved final configuration requirements. At the end of the configuration activity at each facility, RNR Consulting will prepare a comprehensive submittal outlining the overall organization of the CMMS software modules, navigation methods, screens, reports, all parameter settings, options selected, and any other items necessary to document changes, adjustments, etc. to the “baseline” software to meet requirements at the given facility.
